titled Terry Fearn photo

Terry Fearn’s first train set was a Lionel train around the Christmas tree. As he got older, he lost interest until one summer vacation, his family visited a great uncle who modeled the Milwaukee Road in HO scale. He was hooked and traded in his Lionel equipment for a Tyco steam locomotive kit and some cars.

His first scale layout was in his parents’ house. After moving away to college and marriage, he built several scale layouts. The first was a free-lance layout of a short line in southern Arizona. The next was an HOn3 layout of the D&RGW line over Marshall Pass. His current layout models the citrus packing industry in the Bakersfield area, served by the Southern Pacific Railroad. Terry currently live in Prescott, AZ
