Tim Harris has been a member of the NMRA in various locations on and off since 2009. He models in HO scale primarily focusing on the Montana Rail Link but also models Burlington Northern Santa Fe, Burlington Northern, and Northern Pacific. Tim does not have a layout at this time but has contributed modules and participated in setups by the SoCal Free-Mo group.
Tim is a Senior Rail Engineer with the North County Transit District (NCTD) in Oceanside, CA. He has been with NCTD for over three years. At the time of the events of this presentation he was a Track and Structures Engineer with the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (Metrolink), a position he held for almost 10 years. Tim joined Metrolink after 5 years with the New Mexico Department of Transportation, where he served while the New Mexico Rail Runner Express commuter train was being constructed from Albuquerque to Santa Fe.
