Tim Foote has been a model railroader for 34 years. He is a Director of the San Diego Division of the PSR, NMRA.  He is the editor of the San Diego Division quarterly newsletter, The Mail Hook.

He is a member of the La Mesa Model Railroad Club in San Diego.  He has his own 15 by 30 foot HO scale layout depicting the high desert area of California from Barstow to Kingman, Arizona.  He conducts manifest driven railroad operations on the layout.  He has rebuilt a number of model railroad engines including installing decoders in many of them.
