Ray Persing is a life-long model railroader, with a special affinity for scenery and operations. He has built layouts from a large 14' x 30' Appalachian coal-hauler to an A3 sized mini-layout. He became interested in 3D printing during the pandemic as a way to produce quality structure details that weren't commercially available and has progressed to passenger cars and locomotives. On July 1st, he assumed the responsibilities of the NMRA AP Chairman. He is employed by the US Air Force and lives in Beavercreek, Ohio with his wife Gretchen.
