Bob Schaffer models in N-scale and is a member of both the LDsig and OPsig of the NMRA. His proto-freelanced switching layout is set in the Spring of 1939; which Bob considers the true transition era: steam on the mainlines and diesel in the yards. He also has built several T-TRAK modules and set up and ran at local shows. He believes that T-TRAK (and all modular railroading) will be an important part of the future of the hobby. By adding just a few modules to an existing T-TRAK layout, Bob will demonstrate just how possible modular prototypical operations can be. Now retired, Bob resides in Green Valley, AZ where he is a member of the Green Valley Railroad Club.
